What if you could access more complete and reliable information about the social impact of your service program? What if you could reduce administrative headaches related to tracking community service hours? What if you could do it all with an app that volunteers actually enjoy using?
MobileServe makes it possible.
Keep volunteers engaged with MobileServe’s simple, user-friendly app, social media integrations, and competitive Leaderboard.
MobileServe uses intuitive dashboards, streamlined reporting, and advanced time logging and verification to make administrators’ jobs simple.
MobileServe helps connect students with causes. We integrate with non-profit platforms to make it easier for colleges and student organizations to find volunteer opportunities.
The Delta Gamma chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority at Western Kentucky University began using MobileServe in January 2016 to track its volunteer work and community service events. The chapter focuses its philanthropy work on Girl Scouts of the United States and Prevent Child Abuse America.
Their largest community service event is a basketball tournament called the Shamrock Shootout, so the sorority created a service category in MobileServe specific to the event. They also created sub-groups based on class year, so officers can easily see service hour totals for each class as well as for the entire chapter.
Alpha Sigma Alpha began using MobileServe in December 2015 for its collegiate chapters and alumnae association members.
Prior to onboarding, the national headquarters staff emailed the entire membership explaining what to expect, and posted a training video to the organization’s internal portal. This early messaging helped increase adoption among the sorority’s 7,500+ members.
Alpha Sigma Alpha has two levels of administrative dashboards: Chapter officers have access to a dashboard with their own members’ data, and national headquarters staff have access to a dashboard that shows all individual user data, aggregate data at the chapter level, and aggregate data at the national level, which includes alumnae.
Chapter officers use MobileServe to create service events, and national headquarters staff are also able to create monthly milestones and challenges. For example, they ran a Spring Break Challenge to get at least 200 members to upload spring break service trip photos.
These challenges help Alpha Sigma Alpha celebrate members and the work they’re doing in their communities, while also keeping members excited about service work and engaged in the Sorority’s larger mission.
We’d love to chat with you about how MobileServe can help.
